Oxford Street runs nearly the full width of London, and the corridor around Wonderland Road and Sunningdale is home to some of the city’s busiest multi-lane roundabouts. These are a genuinely different skill from a small single-lane roundabout — choosing the correct lane before you enter, committing to it, and signaling early enough for drivers behind you to react. We treat the Oxford/Wonderland roundabout specifically as an intermediate-to-advanced milestone, not a first-lesson stop.
Further along, Oxford Street feeds directly onto Highway 402, which makes this corridor a natural bridge between city driving and highway driving — useful for students working toward their Highway and Night Add-on sessions or a G2 test that may include highway conditions.
Traffic volume on Oxford Street builds steadily through rush hour, with merging traffic from side streets adding extra complexity. Construction and lane reductions aren’t unusual along longer corridors like this one, so we factor in a buffer for changing conditions rather than assuming the route is always the same as last week.
