Away from Wonderland Road, Westmount’s residential streets are calmer and better suited to early lessons — three-point turns, reversing, and basic intersection habits. The mix of a busy arterial next to quiet side streets means we can escalate difficulty within a single lesson without driving across town.
Watch for school zones near Westmount Public School on weekday mornings and afternoons, and for slower-moving mall traffic around the holidays. In winter, the open parking areas around the mall are often the last to get fully plowed, so we treat them as useful (if slippery) practice for low-speed winter manoeuvring.
